Ellittica

The "Ellittica" head is characterized by an elliptical shape for maximum head-to-acetabulum fit, optimal cartilage nutrition, continuous articular lubrication and optimal stress distribution with minimum acetabular wear and protrusion in Hemi arthroplasty. A vacuum effect is obtained which helps eliminate the dislocation problem. By using the “Ellittica” head, the cartilage can be preserved significantly in comparison to Bipolar Heads. Thanks to this, in more than 30 years, Ellittica has proven to be up to 4 times more reliable than both classic bipolar and monopolar femoral heads.
